A care home celebrated receiving the highest possible food hygiene score following an inspection.
The Whitehouse Care Home on Chichester Drive West in Saltdean has been handed a five-star food hygiene rating.
The care home had previously been given a one-star rating after an inspection in January.
The home was told after that inspection that "major improvement" was necessary in the management of food safety.
This category covers the systems and checks in place to ensure food served is safe to eat, evidence that staff understand food safety requirements, and whether the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.

The home is owned by husband-and-wife team, Paul and Sanoma Evans.
Paul Evans said that the previous low score was due to issues with the former management team, which has now been replaced.
Paul said: "Unfortunately the rating was given due to the previous management team failing to provide adequate paperwork as specified by the inspector, which was clearly totally unacceptable.
"I’m pleased to report that we now have a new management team in place who, despite only being in post for a couple of months, are making great progress in bringing all aspects of managing the home up to a good standard.
"This includes the food hygiene paperwork."
The care home was reinspected on February 25, and was awarded a five-star food hygiene score.

Five is the top of the scale, and means the hygiene standards are very good and fully comply with the law.
Paul said the improved hygiene score reflected well on the new management team.
Paul said: "It’s a fantastic reflection on the new team.
"Anything that they have inherited which hasn’t been up to standard has been improved immediately."
