BlackRock enters quantum computing fray with new ETF – Citywire
BlackRock has expanded its thematic range with the launch of the iShares Quantum Computing Ucits ETF, responding to what it describes as very strong appetite from clients, Citywire can reveal.
Listing today on Euronext Amsterdam and Deutsche Börse Xetra, the fund carries a total expense ratio (TER) of 0.50%. Citywire understands a listing on the London Stock Exchange is also imminent.
The launch makes BlackRock the fourth asset manager in Europe – after Global X, VanEck and WisdomTree, to offer a dedicated vehicle for the sector, which global consulting firm McKinsey & Company projects will grow into a $72bn market by 2035.
