Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States, July 2026 — Ulta Beauty has promoted Jamie Schwartz to Director, Talent Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness, recognizing her leadership in advancing talent strategy, organizational design, leadership development, and enterprise transformation. In her expanded role, Jamie will lead initiatives focused on strengthening organizational effectiveness, developing future-ready talent strategies, enhancing leadership capability, and aligning organizational design with Ulta Beauty’s continued growth and business priorities.
Jamie joined Ulta Beauty earlier this year as Senior Manager, Talent Strategy & Organizational Design, where she partnered with business leaders to shape organizational structures, talent frameworks, and enterprise effectiveness initiatives. Her rapid progression to Director reflects both her strategic expertise and extensive leadership experience developed over nearly two decades across global organizations.
Prior to joining Ulta Beauty, Jamie spent more than 17 years with bp, building an exceptional career across business operations, commercial strategy, customer innovation, organizational transformation, leadership development, and talent management. Most recently, she served as Talent Development Manager & Business Advisor to the Vice President – Leadership & Culture, acting as a trusted advisor on enterprise talent strategy while leading global initiatives across performance management, leadership development, manager capability, organizational effectiveness, and strategic workforce planning.
Earlier at bp, Jamie held a series of increasingly responsible leadership positions including Talent Development Program Manager, Customer Product Manager, Commercial Planning Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, Planning & Optimization Coordinator, Supply & Logistics Coordinator, Sales Optimization & Marketing Analyst, and completed the company’s prestigious Rotational Development Program. Throughout her tenure, she successfully led enterprise transformation programs, Agile adoption, organizational redesign, customer innovation initiatives, performance management modernization, and early-career leadership development across global teams.
Across her career, Jamie has developed deep expertise in Talent Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, Organizational Design, Leadership Development, Performance Management, Talent Development, Change Management, Organizational Transformation, Leadership Coaching, Workforce Planning, Learning & Development, Employee Experience, Agile Transformation, Strategic Planning, Commercial Excellence, Customer Innovation, Program Management, and Cross-functional Leadership.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington, where she also completed the prestigious Liberal Arts and Management Program (LAMP) and was a member of the Hutton Honors College. She further earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management, Leadership & Change Management from the DePaul Driehaus College of Business, strengthening her expertise in organizational leadership and business transformation.
