RAH Infotech hires former NTT Data exec as VP to deepen enterprise cloud transformation capabilities – CRN Asia

RAH Infotech has appointed Sanjit Talapatra as vice president, cloud and digital transformation, as the company expands its cloud advisory and transformation capabilities for enterprise customers and channel partners.
Before joining RAH Infotech, he held leadership positions at NTT Data, where he served as Associate Director – Technical Architects, leading cloud-led transformation programmes for Fortune 500 clients.
The appointment comes as enterprises look to modernise ageing infrastructure, consolidate fragmented technology environments and build foundations for AI-driven initiatives.
Talapatra will lead RAH Infotech’s cloud and digital transformation practice, with responsibility for driving engagement across hyperscale cloud providers including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
His mandate spans cloud architecture, platform engineering, data modernisation and enterprise cloud transformation programmes.
According to the company, the move reflects growing demand from organisations seeking support beyond cloud strategy and planning, with a stronger focus on implementation and execution.
RAH said it aims to help customers move cloud initiatives from the planning stage into deployments that are commercially viable, technically robust and designed to scale.
Commenting on the appointment, RAH Infotech’s chief executive officer, Anurag Singh, said enterprises require support in translating complex technology decisions into practical transformation programmes.
“Enterprises need a partner who can translate complex technology decisions into clear, executable plans, and that is precisely what Sanjit brings to this role,” Singh said.
The appointment also signals RAH’s intent to deepen its consulting and advisory capabilities as cloud adoption evolves beyond infrastructure migration projects.
Many organisations are now pursuing broader transformation initiatives that combine cloud, data and AI investments, requiring expertise across multiple technology domains and cloud environments.
Talapatra said enterprises are moving beyond cloud-first strategies towards operating models where infrastructure, data and AI function as interconnected systems.
“We are moving beyond the era of ‘cloud-first’ organisations to intelligence-led enterprises, where infrastructure, data, and AI operate as a single connected system rather than separate investments,” Talapatra said.
He added that organisations need support in orchestrating technology across different environments to enable real-time decision-making, continuous innovation and operational growth.
For RAH Infotech, the appointment strengthens a practice area that is becoming increasingly important as enterprises expand their use of hyperscale cloud platforms while exploring AI-driven transformation projects.
Talapatra brings 17 years of experience in cloud transformation, enterprise architecture, infrastructure modernisation and technology consulting.
He has also worked with KPMG India, Capgemini, Atos and Infosys.
Throughout his career, Talapatra has led cloud architecture initiatives across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud environments and has worked on enterprise deployments involving cloud-native AI and large-scale infrastructure platforms.
He holds certifications across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
The appointment comes at a time when cloud adoption in India is increasingly tied to broader digital transformation and AI initiatives rather than standalone infrastructure projects.
As enterprises seek to modernise application environments, improve data accessibility and deploy AI capabilities at scale, channel partners and technology providers are expanding consulting, architecture and implementation capabilities around hyperscaler ecosystems.
By strengthening leadership within its cloud and digital transformation practice, RAH Infotech wants to support organisations looking to integrate cloud, data and AI strategies as part of long-term modernisation programmes.
