A D.C. University Was Dubbed One Of The 'New Ivies' By Forbes – Secret DC

Forbes just released a new list of private and public universities across the nation dubbed ‘The New Ivies’, and one D.C. school was included on the list.
The new age of education is here, thanks to the incredible computing power of LLMs and generative AI revolutionizing how both consumers and businesses source and utilize information.
As a result of this major shift, historic institutions, such as the original Ivy League schools, which have built a reputation for offering the highest-quality education possible, are beginning to be surpassed in terms of workforce preparation by schools that emphasize AI adoption.
These select schools that are embracing the next-gen way of learning with AI adoption to maximize workforce preparation are what Forbes has officially labeled as ‘The New Ivies’.
The local university that Forbes just tapped as one of the ‘New Ivies’ is none other than the District’s very own Georgetown University.
The highly competitive university remains one of the top educational institutions in the nation, but with its recent emphasis on ways of using AI to maximize efficiency in ways that don’t develop dependency or lead to unreliable results, it has made Georgetown University one of the nation’s leaders for ‘workforce preparation’, according to Forbes.
There were a total of 20 schools featured on Forbes’ ‘New Ivies’ list, 10 of which were private universities and 10 of which were public.
