EUFAULA, Ala. (WTVM) – A major drug bust in Barbour County has led to the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of thousands of dollars in drugs and cash.
According to the Eufaula Police Department, state agents executed a search warrant in the city on Wednesday.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, 35-year-old Johnrecis Jones and 36-year-old Shavannah Moreland, both of Eufaula, were arrested and charged.
Jones faces three counts of drug trafficking, one count of first-degree unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance and a charge for certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm.
Moreland is charged with two counts of drug trafficking and one count of first-degree unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance.
