It’s Saturday and it snowed all day yesterday, so I’m just pretending it’s winter again. I don’t mind. It’s cozy! We definitely need all the moisture we can get also. In any case, we have a Wordle to solve and snowmen to build. Let’s do it!
The Hint: Email.
The Clue: This Wordle starts with a vowel.

Today's Wordle
Every day I check Wordle Bot to help analyze my guessing game. You can check your Wordles with Wordle Bot right here.
SMILE wasn’t the best guess, but at least TRAIN took the 168 words I had remaining and slashed that number down to 17. PINKY got rid of all the rest. Only INBOX remained.
Today's Bot
The Bot and I each get 0 for this one. Tied, guessed in four, zeroes all around. Which means our scores remain:
Erik: 9 points
Wordle Bot: 10 points
As you can see, the Bot is still in the lead, but only just barely. And there’s still almost two weeks left. This could go either way! I do love a close game . . . .
The word inbox is a compound of "in" and "box". It originally referred to the physical tray on a desk where incoming mail or documents were placed (attested from the 1940s). With the rise of email in the 1980s–90s, the term was adopted for the folder where incoming electronic messages are stored.
