Samsung Electronics has named Mauro Porcini as its new President and Chief Design Officer (CDO), reinforcing its commitment to design-led innovation.
He announced about his new role on Linkedin.
Bringing a wealth of experience from leadership roles at PepsiCo and 3M, Porcini is set to enhance Samsung’s user-centric design approach. An Italian native, he holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Industrial Design from Politecnico di Milano.
During his tenure at PepsiCo, Porcini was instrumental in transforming the company’s design philosophy, driving product innovation, refining design processes, and elevating brand experiences. His visionary leadership earned him recognition as a pioneer in design strategy.
With Porcini on board, Samsung Electronics aims to further elevate its design capabilities across key product categories, including mobile devices, televisions, and home appliances.
