Sidley Austin announced that Jane Rheem has joined the firm as Chief Data & AI Officer. Across her 25-year career, she headed the data analytics and data science functions at multiple organizations. And more recently, Rheem was Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Zurich North America.
Throughout Rheem’s career, she built high-performing teams and led strategic initiatives to implement the most leading-edge technologies. At Sidley, she will be leading the strategic alignment and execution of advanced technology, including data, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
She will work closely with senior business professionals and Sidley’s AI Council to launch Sidley’s Data Strategy 2025. Building on the progress the firm has already made in data organization efforts. This transformation initiative is designed to advance the firm’s data strategy and operations to capitalize on new AI and other technology developments effectively.
