During the presentation, Dan Roulier issued a challenge of giving to our local business community during these challenging and surreal times for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts to help those in need due to the growing concerns of food uncertainty brought on by the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.  
Mayor Sarno stated, “I want to thank Dan Roulier and his wife for their continued belief, investment and support of our Springfield.  Their very generous donation to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts will help families in need as we continue to work together to defeat this COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.  Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Roulier’s very generous donation of $25,000 the Food Bank will be able to provide over 100,000 meals for those in need.  No donation is too small or too large, and I know that the members of our business community will continue to answer Mr. and Mrs. Roulier’s challenge.”
