Global Clean Energy Acquires Flamelit To Accelerate AI-Driven Resilience – Pulse 2.0

Global Clean Energy announced it has acquired Flamelit, a mission-driven AI and data science firm focused on delivering responsible, production-ready artificial intelligence systems that transform complex data into actionable decisions for public-good applications.
The transaction brings Flamelit’s consulting operations directly into Global Clean Energy’s newly launched AI Division. The acquired business includes $2.1 million in revenue generated over the past several years, active client contracts, operational infrastructure, and strategic partnerships. As part of the deal, four core employees and a bench of more than 10 senior data scientists join the company, providing immediate capacity to expand ethical AI solutions across energy, infrastructure, climate resilience, and public health markets.
Global Clean Energy said the acquisition advances its strategy to combine clean energy demand with applied AI innovation. Flamelit’s portfolio includes AI systems designed to detect pressure waves in water systems to help prevent pipe failures, a multimodal pediatric asthma early-warning system incorporating NASA satellite data, and machine learning models that predict sepsis risk upon patient arrival. The firm also provides Fractional Chief AI Officer services focused on executive AI strategy and governance.
According to a February 4, 2026 Vanderbilt Report cited by the company, the global AI in energy market is projected to grow from $11.3 billion in 2024 to $54.83 billion by 2030, representing a 30.2% compound annual growth rate.
