HUNTINGTON — An official said the City of Huntington’s systems have been restored to normal operations as of Thursday morning following a cybersecurity incident that took place Tuesday night.
An email to media from Suzanne House, executive assistant to the mayor, said the incident affected a limited number of internal systems, and a full forensic review is being done to determine the full scope of the incident.
“We know incidents like this can be concerning, and we want our residents, businesses, and partners to know that maintaining secure and reliable operations is a top priority. We remain vigilant and committed to that responsibility,” House said in the email.
