2 internet shops in CDO found operating without permits – GMA Network
At least two internet shops in Cagayan de Oro City were found operating without business permits.
The Regulatory Compliance Board (RCB) of Cagayan de Oro City conducted a surprise inspection of three internet or “pisonet” shops in Barangay Gusa to check their compliance with city ordinances.
During the inspection, two of the three establishments were issued ordinance violation receipt (OVR) after authorities found they were operating without the required permits.
Inspectors also discovered that the shops failed to block access to pornographic websites, which is a clear violation of a city ordinance.
The local government is urging business owners to comply with local laws and secure proper business permits to avoid penalties.
