Nvidia GTC 2025: Jensen Huang unveils new era of artificial intelligence, robotics and GPU innovations – igorslab.de
At this year’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC), Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang gave one of the most important keynotes of the year. The event took place in Washington D.C. and was streamed live worldwide. The interest was enormous, as Nvidia is now regarded as the key company when it comes to progress in artificial intelligence, data centers and high-performance GPU technologies.
Huang opened his presentation with a clear message: “We are on the cusp of a new era of agentic AI.” By this, Nvidia is referring to a concept in which AI systems not only react, but can also act and make decisions independently. The basis for this development is the newly introduced AI-Q Blueprint research platform, which is designed to support companies in developing, training and productively deploying their own AI models. Nvidia describes AI-Q as a blueprint for the next generation of AI systems that go beyond pure data processing and can coordinate complex tasks independently.
Another focus of the keynote was on new collaborations with global technology partners. Huang announced joint projects with UAE company G42, aviation pioneer Boom Supersonic, Foxconn, Amazon Robotics and Tomorrow.io. The aim of these partnerships is to integrate AI technologies into a wide range of areas – from industrial manufacturing to climate and weather analysis to autonomous transportation systems. These collaborations clearly show that Nvidia is increasingly expanding its ecosystem beyond the traditional GPU market and wants to establish AI as the universal foundation of future industries.
Huang was also expected to reveal new information on the GPU roadmap. Although there was initially no concrete announcement of a possible Blackwell successor architecture, Huang repeatedly indicated that development was already well advanced. Nvidia is investing heavily in the further development of accelerators for data centers, cloud platforms and AI clusters. Observers expect that the first technical details could follow in the course of the conference.
The presentation also emphasized Nvidia’s growing commitment to robotics and simulation. Huang showed how the combination of Omniverse, Isaac and CUDA-accelerated training enables realistic AI agents that can act in both the virtual and physical world. This ties in with Nvidia’s long-term vision of seamlessly integrating digital twins and robots into AI-powered infrastructures.

I see the GTC 2025 as more than just a product show. Jensen Huang has shown that Nvidia has long since outgrown the traditional hardware manufacturer. The focus on agentic AI, which can act and learn independently, is particularly exciting. Nvidia is thus initiating a fundamental paradigm shift that is likely to shape all areas of research, industry and everyday life in the coming years.
