Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe has announced the appointment of Brian Newman as Chief Data and Operations Officer, Life & Health (L&H).
Newman brings extensive experience to the role, having spent six years at Hannover Life Re US, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Operations following his tenure as Vice President, Operations.
Before that, he was Head of PMO at Hannover Re, and served as Head of Liability Date Services at Legal & General prior to that.
His career also includes a previous seven-year tenure at Hannover Life Re US, were he held a number of roles including as Senior Consultant, VP, Client Data Management and AVP, Client Data Management.
Throughout his career, the executive has also held a number of positions at several firms, including Scottish Re, ING Re, Reinsurance Supervisor, Nelson Hurst, Exall Warren Darbu and Eastern Insurance and Reinsurance.
