Temporary traffic scheme set near CDO bridge to retrieve backhoe – GMA Network
A temporary traffic scheme will be implemented on the national highway in Barangay Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City to retrieve the backhoe that sank into a creek.
The traffic scheme will be implemented near Bantiles Bridge from 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 2 to 5 a.m. on Sunday, August 3.
Authorities said the backhoe was part of a road reblocking project in the area, but it sank due to the slippery condition of the soil.
To facilitate the retrieval of the backhoe and ensure public safety, heavy equipment and trucks will be prohibited temporarily from passing through Bantiles Bridge.
These vehicles will instead be rerouted through Mantibugao, Manolo Fortich and Sayre Highway.
However, all light vehicles and buses will still be allowed to pass through the bridge.
