Horizon West resident named a vice president at Visit Orlando – West Orange Times Observer

Horizon West’s Tim Megginson is taking on a new role for Visit Orlando. 
Megginson, who has been with Visit Orlando for eight years, has been promoted to vice president of digital and data strategy. 
He will oversee the organization’s digital marketing, email CRM, business analytics and emerging technology initiatives. 
“Tim’s promotion reflects both his exceptional leadership and our strategic commitment to digital transformation,” said Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando, in a news release. “From AI to advanced analytics, this role ensures Visit Orlando remains at the forefront of technology and continues to deepen global engagement through innovation and insight.”
Besides his contributions to Visit Orlando, Megginson became the captain for the Keenes Crossing chapter of All Pro Dad, a nonprofit “that helps chapters create monthly gatherings at schools where dads and kids engage in meaningful conversations and activities that strengthen their relationships,” according to the news release.
He also has served as a volunteer soccer coach for Winter Garden Soccer’s Under 8 team as well as a parent volunteer at the Foundation Academy to support the school’s basketball team.
