Barcelona are considering a move for Brazilian centre-back Rodrigo Caio, who has already reportedly had a medical.
According to the Spanish medium Diario Sport, the player has undergone medical tests in Sao Paulo, supervised by Barcelona club doctors.
Caio has spent his entire professional career at his hometown club, making 277 first-team appearances and he has earned four caps for Brazil’s national team.
The defender previously had surgery on his cruciate ligament and has suffered several minor muscle injuries over the years, causing him to miss the 2018 World Cup.
Indeed, in the summer of 2015 it was reported that the defender had signed for Valencia in a €12.5m deal, but it was reported that he failed two medicals and the deal fell through.
