Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg, co-founders and co-CEOs of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, joined Andrew Huberman, neuroscientist and tenured professor at Stanford School of Medicine, to talk about CZI and the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network on the “Huberman Lab” podcast. They discussed CZI’s mission to help scientists cure, prevent, or manage all diseases by the end of this century, as well as how advances in artificial intelligence will help achieve this goal. Priscilla and Mark also shared the inspiration behind the CZ Biohub Network, and how the Chicago and New York Biohubs will push the bounds of scientific discovery.
“Where I always found the most hope as a physician is new discoveries, new opportunities, and new ways of understanding how to keep people well, which come from basic science,” said Priscilla Chan.
